We are very proud to announce; Katie Baad P.E. and Cristobal Paniagua P.E., of C. W. Howe Partners Inc., were presented with an Award of Excellence from the Los Angeles Architectural Awards of 2014 for their contribution on project 2802 Pico.

The structure had 23 living units of low income housing.  The structure was three stories of timber construction above a concrete podium slab and two subterranean levels of parking with a corkscrew configuration.

The project design achieved LEED Platinum certification.  Metalsa SA and Brooks + Scarpa unveiled the plans in 2012. The project is located in a new Research and Technology Innovation Park developed by the Mexican government outside of Monterrey, Mexico and adjacent to the area’s airport.  The building features offices as well as the warehouse and research laboratories.

 

Over 6,000 sq ft guest house located off of Sunset Blvd in Westwood. Currently under construction with parking garage and concrete deck completed in July 2014. Structural, Civil and Shoring by C.W. Howe Partners Inc.

AIA 2014 Housing Award

C.W. Howe Partners engineered the Pasadena residence which just won an AIA 2014 Housing Award.
Koning Eizenberg Architecture designed the beautiful residence which seamlessly blends outdoor and indoor living.
